As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Sous Chef in maintaining the highest standard of food quality with creativity and consistency to build and maintain a strong and efficient team Promote Mission statement, product and service standards, and marketing goals.

What you will be doing:
To develop and maintain the highest standard of food quality with creativity and consistency.
To build and maintain a strong and efficient team
To order, check, plan, execute and ensure the freshness of products.
To communicate and co-ordinate all ala Carte and special dishes with the Exec Chef and The Restaurant Manager.
To walk through all meal products
Maintain professional relationship with Service Team Members.
Is aware of and abides by all hotel policies, procedures & relevant legislations
Reports any hazards, risks, accidents as required
Ensures all directions are followed out at the request of any level of Senior Management.
Prepares the kitchen in line with level of activity and revised forecasts
Ensures the smooth running of food preparation during the shift
Ensures effective coordination between the kitchen, dishwashing and the different F&B points of sale
Helps create new menu and "\xc3\xa0 la carte" recipes
Attend weekly Kitchen meetings
Perform operational responsibilities of Executive Sous Chef in their absence
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred
Excellence in strategic leadership and team management
Creative and passionate about food and customer service
Able to work in a high-pressure environment
Visa requirements:
Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
