The Sous Chef role at Atlantis The Royal supports the Chef de Cuisine in leading daily kitchen operations within one of the world's most ultra-luxury hospitality destinations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining exceptional food quality, hygiene standards, team performance, and operational efficiency while delivering a refined dining experience that meets the resort's world-class standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Cuisine in managing and organizing all kitchen operations
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet established standards
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices across all kitchen areas
• Supervise and motivate kitchen team members to perform at a high standard
• Assist with staff training, development, and performance monitoring
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service operations
• Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate availability of kitchen materials
• Enforce standard operating procedures and service guidelines at all times
• Contribute to a positive, disciplined, and high-performing kitchen environment

Ideal Profile

• Diploma in Catering or equivalent culinary qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a 5-star international hotel or luxury resort
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a Sous Chef role or similar senior kitchen position
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
