Key Responsibilities
Assist the Chef de Cuisine in leading and managing daily kitchen operations
Ensure all food preparation and presentation meets established quality and brand standards
Maintain high levels of hygiene, food safety, and sanitation across assigned kitchen sections
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen team members to perform at their best
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Monitor stock levels, ingredient quality, and kitchen supplies
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and service standards
Ideal Profile
Diploma in Catering or equivalent professional culinary qualification, or extensive hands-on experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a five-star international hotel or luxury hospitality environment
At least 1-2 years of experience in a Sous Chef or similar supervisory kitchen role
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality
