The Sourcing role is part of the Tangier Procurement team, Your employment will be with APM Terminals Management Morocco, you will be reporting directly to Tangier entities Procurement manager who is based in Tangiers, Morocco.

You will be part of a truly global and professional Procurement function in a Fortune 500 company offering a dynamic environment with support and opportunities for individuals who have ambitions and take initiative. This is a very varied role where you will build strong relationships with the internal customers, the management of the terminal as well as the global Procurement function

Key responsibilities:

You need to be able to understand both the commercial and the operational side of the terminals to become a trusted Procurement business partner and support in situations where we rely on external suppliers to keep the terminals running. Your key responsibilities will be to add value through:

Successfully matching our global strategies and priorities to local needs and opportunities. Procurement of capital equipment and service following established procurement policies and procedures Manages sourcing projects and works toward developing sourcing strategies and processes, Arrange tender procedures, receive bids, coordinate with demand owners to evaluate, assess and select the bidders based on capabilities and written criteria Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers; evaluate, assess and select vendors based on capabilities, performance and consistent quality assurance; keep accurate vendor report Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation and assist the manager to plan further demands and order levels with the Requestors Ensure compliance to global and local business principles, policies and standards and procurement policies whilst providing guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement principles and processes. safeguarding the supplier related controls posture and ensure strong cost management though compliance to procurement processes and tools. Identify risks and opportunities associated with purchases as well as potential changes, claims and market trends, according to purchasing policies and guidelines. Identify savings and potential for improvement to ensure a better economic result for the company aligned with the objectives of the Procurement area. Co-owning and executing the annual procurement plan to connect the terminals to best of breed supplier to optimize cost and enable innovation.

What we are looking for:

Ensure that every dollar spent is spent professionally. This is achieved by reducing operating expenses and driving a saving mindset by applying procurement capabilities and tools, to succeed in this role you : Have customer Centricity mindset, an understanding of how customer needs relate to procurement activities. Have strong interpersonal skill with the ability to partner with internal stakeholders. Have a good understanding of strategic procurement and RFx processes. Ideally, also experience in contract implementation. Understand the requisition-to-pay processes and the operational aspects of execution of them. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable in engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders in an ambiguous environment with an agile mindset. Have a structured working approach and analytical mindset together with a self-driven approach. Experience with LEAN is a plus. Are able to work both independently, as well as and as part of a cross-departmental team. Have strong planning, prioritizing skills and experience in managing procurement projects, process improvement, conducting supplier relationship management and supply chain/ contract management in a complex, fast-paced environment. Are strong communicator both writing and speaking in business English, French and Arabic Are Proficient in working with Microsoft Office Products including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Power BI. Have a bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business or similar, master degree is a plus. Procurement and contracting experience (minimum 6-8 years). Experience with digital procurement tools will be an advantage
