Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Sommelier and Wine Manager in maintaining and updating the wine list
• Manage wine ordering, stock rotation, and cellar organization
• Recommend wine pairings that complement Studio Frantzen's culinary offerings
• Engage with guests to understand preferences and provide tailored wine recommendations
• Ensure correct wine service standards, including temperature control and appropriate glassware
• Identify opportunities to upsell beverages while maintaining a refined dining experience
• Assist with staff training related to wine knowledge and service techniques
• Maintain high standards of presentation, accuracy, and attention to detail

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Sommelier role within luxury restaurants or hotels
• WSET Level 2 qualification or equivalent professional wine certification
• Strong understanding of wine pairing, wine list preparation, and stock management
• International experience in fine dining or Michelin-level restaurants is an advantage
• Confident communicator with a guest-focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing Food and Beverage team
