Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily wine service and coordinate seamlessly with the restaurant team
• Provide expert wine recommendations, pairings, and guidance to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain wine cellar stock levels, rotation, and proper storage conditions
• Minimize wastage by monitoring open bottles and ensuring correct handling
• Communicate wine availability and contribute suggestions for wine list updates
• Support staff development through wine knowledge sessions, tastings, and briefings
• Assist with monthly inventory counts and report stock discrepancies promptly
• Ensure accurate temperature logs for wine chillers and storage areas
• Uphold service quality during peak operations and respond to special guest requests
• Follow brand standards to support a consistent and elevated dining experience

Ideal Profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a Sommelier in a 5-star luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant
• Strong food and beverage background with expertise in wine service
• WSET certification required
• Proficient in English; a second European language is desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Micros, and Sevenrooms systems
• Experience working in diverse, multicultural hospitality environments
• Strong communication, presentation, and guest engagement skills
