Job Description
- Build an efficient team by controlling, guiding and motivating them in the day-to-day running of the
- Behave professionally and co-operate with fellow team members and colleagues to provide efficient
- Responsible for maintaining the high standard beverage and wine service in the restaurant, club
- Ensure all wines products are prepared and served as per Ca? LA VI standard.
- Suggest the beverage options for food and wine pairings. Advise guests on wines based on their
- Create and update the wine list in coordination with the beverage department.
- Inform guests about different varieties of wines and prices.
- Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and in the proper glassware.
- Store open bottles (wines by the glass) properly to maintain quality and taste.
- Manage wine cellar and ensure it is fully-stocked as per the appropriate par level.
- Update guests on available wines before dinner and encourage the team to upsell slow moving
- Inform the team in the briefing on unavailable wines, if any.
- Responsible for ordering, receiving and inventory of the wines.
- Develop a training program for all team members to improve their wine knowledge, conduct wine
- Achieve the set monthly sales targets by developing an incentive program for staff, for bottles
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
