Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
Assist customers in selecting wines, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages based on taste preferences, occasion, food pairings, and budget. Provide expert recommendations and upsell premium products when appropriate.Product Knowledge & Inventory
Stay updated on new arrivals, industry trends, and product details. Assist with receiving, stocking, and merchandising inventory. Maintain accurate knowledge of store inventory to support efficient customer service.Training & Staff Support
Train store staff on basic wine and spirit knowledge to improve overall customer support. Develop educational materials and tools to help team members understand product offerings.Compliance & Cleanliness
Ensure all alcohol-related regulations and age restrictions are followed. Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the wine/spirits section.Qualifications:
Certified Sommelier (e.g., WSET Level 2/3, Court of Master Sommeliers, or similar) preferred. Proven experience in wine/spirit retail, hospitality, or fine dining. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment. Passion for customer service and beverage education.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
