The role purpose of Solution Architect is to design and deliver end-to-end D&A solutions for financial institutions using LSEGs suite of products and services. This role requires deep expertise in financial data, cloud-based architectures, and integration methodologies to drive successful implementation and adoption of LSEGs solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to align solutions with customer business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance. This position will be based in Dubai, UAE and will be reporting to Regional Consulting Lead, CEEMA
WHAT YOU"LL BE DOING
Solution Design & Architecture:
Design and architect solutions using LSEG data and analytics offerings, including cloud-based and on-premises implementations
Provide technical leadership in integrating LSEG data feeds, APIs, and platforms into client environments
Ensure solution scalability, security, and regulatory compliance in financial services implementations
Perform customer architecture reviews, develop reference architectures, design patterns, and standard methodologies for solution deployment
Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot implementations for new technologies and integration approaches
Client Engagement & Advisory:
Collaborate with financial institutions to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on standard processes for financial data integration and analytics.
Conduct customer workshops aligning with their pivotal initiatives such digital transformation
Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, solution demonstrations, proposals and SOWs
Implementation & Delivery:
Be an integral part of delivery value stream of Consulting services and extended teams to ensure seamless solution deployment
Perform Delivery activities such as Customer Requirements Gathering, design of Solutions Architectures
Provide hands-on support during the implementation lifecycle, including fixing, optimization, integration, configuration, installation, testing support - UAT, SIT, training and Quality Assurance
Support Project/Program management team ensuring project plan activities are delivered on time, on budget and in line with customer expectations
Collaboration:
Work multi-functionally with sales, product management, consulting services, and support teams
Supply to internal knowledge sharing and standard processes within the Consulting Services communities
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Required Skills (Must have)

• Confirmed experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or related roles in the financial services sector 8+

Experience working with investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, or financial market infrastructure providers
Deep knowledge of financial data domains such as treasury FO/MO/BO, cross asset class market data, risk analytics, pricing, and reference data
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design innovative solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences including C-level stakeholders
Have analytical, architecture and design skills around distributed infrastructure solutions across differing jurisdictions, locations, platforms & software
Proactive mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
Enterprise-wide thinking - able to give end to end solutions
Knowledge of financial markets and understanding of business requirements, ability to work in a demanding environment to meet customer deadlines
Technology Knowledge or Skills needed
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for data storage, processing, and analytics
Systems integration experience with technologies such as WebSockets, Webservices, MQ, ESB or other messaging frameworks
AI & ML Expertise: Proficiency in artificial intelligence and machine learning principles, including neural networks, data processing techniques, and model development
Knowledge/Experience of programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, REST API/JASON, .NET, XSLT, CSS, HTML
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
Databases and tools Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, SNOWFLAKE, BigQuery
Virtulization technologies such as VMWare / Citrix / Hyper-V
Desired skills
Experience in LSEG products/solutions/APIs is a plus like LSEG Data Platform (RDP), Electronic Trading, datascope select, Real-time distribution or equivalent
Qualification
Computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Bachelor's or Master's degree
Certifications
Certifications in cloud computing (AWS Solution Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Architect)
Experience with AI/ML and advanced analytics in financial services
Familiarity with open-source financial data platforms and tools
Additional Information
Candidate must be willing to travel across region covered per demands. Travel expected to be 30%
