Your responsibilities will include:
SS8\xe2\x80\x99s platforms enable communications service providers (CSPs), law enforcement agencies (LEAs), and government & intelligence bodies to collect, analyze and visualize complex digital information. By providing advanced lawful intercept, location intelligence and data forensics solutions, we help catch criminals, stop organized crime, and prevent terror attacks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Represent SS8 and SS8 partner solutions in creating end to end solutions for prospects and customers, leveraging both SS8 and SS8 partner solutions.
- Create winning solutions design based on prospect and customer specific network deployments.
- Craft winning responses and creative solutions to RFI/RFP issued by prospects and customers.
- Works closely with SS8 product management, provide requirements analysis, reporting and interpretation of standards and requirements
- Demonstration of SS8 products to new customers
- Provide feedback to SS8 product management team to trends and real world issues
- Provided ongoing system engineering services, including explanations of system upgrades of hardware and software for SS8 products in customer networks.
- Understand customer needs and configure and architect equipment accordingly
- 3+ years of solution architecture/system engineering/software design/requirements definition or directly related experience required
- Must have prior working experience in solutions design with telephony and IP network architectures
- Demonstrated knowledge of wireless, wireline, and IP based communications network architectures pertaining to 3GPP (3G UMTS, 4G LTE/EPC, 5G) and VoIP and core network elements including IMS, etc.
- Demonstrated and significant knowledge of network protocols/interfaces including SIP, TCP/IP, CDMA, GSM, LTE, SMPP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, M2M, 3GPP/ETSI/IETF specifications
- Experience with virtualization or cloud computing
- Experience with databases and storage systems
- Demonstrated experience in designing and sizing high capacity, high performance transactional systems;
- Must be able to craft presentations, and respond to written communications
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills are a must have; demonstrated experience with direct customer interaction
- Professional, detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, self-starter requiring little direction
- Expected to function as key member of technical leadership team
