About the role
Entity mission (WIN/OINIS/NET) Network Engineering & Technology (NET) is an integrated engineering department working both for the B2B & Wholesale customers, from OINIS’ playground, with the following main missions:- Propose state of the art engineering and consistent technology for all Orange IP international and enterprise networks.
- Design innovative network services for carrier and enterprise markets in liaison with Orange labs, sourcing and suppliers;
- Manage network & IT transformation around technological breakthroughs and market trends (virtualization, hybrid)
- Provide expertise and support to Operations and Business Units.
- Work with all stake holders to ensure solution development within schedule
- Work with technical teams to qualify and study business needs
- Design technical solution
- Provide technical deliverables : HLD, LLD, …
- Define and conduct tests and ensure End-to-End solution validation
- Define and follow solution release management
- Interact with solutions vendors
- Provide technical support & assist teammates in support activities
- Help build support materials
About you
Experience and Education- At least 10 years’ experience in networks, virtualization, cloud, and IT services
- A formal degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer science or equivalent preferred.
- Understanding of IP networking fundamentals (TCP, DNS, NTP…) & routing (BGP, static), Switching, Virtual switching OVS, DPDK, Firewalling, Load-balancing, VNF, SDN, SDWAN.
- Understanding of MPLS VPN, SSL VPN, GRE, IPSEC.
- Understanding of cloud environment & virtualization (Linux KVM, Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, object storage)
- Knowledge in software development (Python, JAVA, shell scripting, …)
- Knowledge of Agile & DevOps practices, tools & methodologies: Git, CICD, CICD pipelines, Jira, Kanban, scrum.
- Knowledge of Network orchestration & Automation concepts & tools : SOM, MANO, Ansible, NSO, Terraform, BPMN workflows, etc.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of big data & data science frameworks: Machine Learning, ELK stack, Grafana, Data iku, …)
- Team working, good interpersonal skills.
- Open-mindedness, technical creativity.
- Proactive personality, self-motivated, autonomous.
- Being able to work in international environment.
- Advanced knowledge of English language and French
- Good communication
- Transversal Management and Coordination
Additional information
Base salary from 1,450 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.Department
