The Solution Architect (also serving as Technical Lead) is responsible for the overall technical solution of application modernization project. In addition to Python-based modernization, the architect must have deep expertise in C#.NET to extract and interpret business logic from the legacy system. This ensures accurate re-engineering into the new microservices-based architecture while maintaining functional fidelity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical solutioning, producing HLD, LLD, ADRs, and integration specifications. Analyze legacy C#.NET BET application code to extract embedded business logic and translate it into decision tables and Python service designs. Ensure technical fidelity when re-engineering .NET logic into Python microservices. Guide developers on best practices for both Python and .NET-to-Python migration. Ensure compliance with Client coding and InfoSec standards (PEP8, SOLID, REST API, secure coding). Provide hands-on technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers. Define best practices for idempotency, canonical messaging, error handling, and observability. Validate integration with MARS, WASOLA, and other dependent systems. Oversee DevOps practices and ensure CI/CD pipelines enforce quality gates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

9+ years in software engineering and solution architecture. Strong experience with both C#.NET and Python (at least 5+ years in each). Proven expertise in analyzing and refactoring legacy .NET applications into modern architectures. Proficiency in Django REST, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, microservices, and asynchronous messaging. Airline/aviation domain knowledge desirable (PNRs, SSR, interline bookings). Hands-on DevOps exposure (GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes). Strong stakeholder engagement and mentoring skills.
