Solar Site Engineer
Job Description
Location: Multi-site (Dubai and UAE)
Experience: Minimum 2 years (utility-scale solar projects, 1 GW+ preferred)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or Renewable Energy
Experience in utility-scale solar design, installation, commissioning
Proficiency with PVsyst, AutoCAD, MS Office, basic project management
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site surveys, feasibility assessments, installation supervision, commissioning activities
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, DISCOM utilities, and regulatory bodies
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure compliance with IEC/NEC/local codes
Maintain project documentation: schedules, budgets, reports; support cross-functional teams
Implement safety & quality standards, guide installation teams
Preferred Skills:
NABCEP/IEC certifications
Exposure to battery/storage systems
Salary will depend on the work experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
