Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintaining and ensuring the quality of software deliverables.
- Report bugs accurately and execute testing according to the set of defect life cycle management.
- Reporting and continuous monitoring of the quality of work performed.
- Participate in meetings with clients to understand business and technical requirements.
- Prepare detailed test cases based business and technical requirements.
- Ability to understand and analyze technical and business requirements.
- Preparing Functional Test Cases based on understood technical and business requirements to test developed e-Services and Solutions.
- Work closely with teams of Application Development, Architecture, Infrastructure and Engineering for testing their deliverables.
- Ability to work under pressure and stressful scenarios.
- An understanding of software QA/QC methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of various QA/QC Testing and Testing automation tools and ability to learn new tools.
- Analytical Thinking, Problem-Solving Skills and attention to details.
- Understanding for Software Development Life Cycle SDLC.
- Execute Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike and Breakpoint Test is a preferred plus.
- Execute different set of performance test scenarios for the applications under test based on the requirements.
- Knowledge and experience in below are a preferred plus:
- Automated testing using scripts and maintaining reusability with scripting guidelines/ standards is a preferred plus
- Experience of performance testing, API testing, Workload modelling, Scenarios.
- Hands on expertise on test scripting /execution and reporting for at least below tools sets (in priority order) is a preferred plus. (Ready API, WAPT, Jmeter, Load Runner and Knowledge on Performance engineering concepts with any of the tools or similar tool set Appdynamics / VsiualVM / IBMThread & HeapAnalyzer / Dynatrace / Oracle AW
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or any IT related field.
