Job Details The Quality Assurance Lead (QA Lead) is a key position within the Quality Assurance team working in the Professional Services division at Salesforce. The QA Lead works collaboratively with various project teams across multiple customer implementations. This role works under minimal direction, relying on experience and judgment to ensure the appropriate level of quality is incorporated into our customer implementations. The successful candidate will show strength with a highly collaborative approach, exhibiting excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead multiple customer implementations in a Test Lead capacity using onshore/offshore models. Responsible for crafting Test artifacts including Test Strategy, Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports. Works closely with internal and customer teams to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results. Lead test team in translating business requirements to test cases and test scripts lead a team of QA Analysts through all Phases of Testing - (Functional, System, Integration and User Acceptance) on a project Lead internal defect triage calls Assist customer with UAT planning as needed Assist with UAT defect triage calls Liaison to customer Quality Assurance Lead Maintain and communicate QA metrics to internal and customer partners via status/metrics reports Document and communicate QA-related risks to Project Management Interact, communicate and follow through with development & customer teams throughout testing phase Ability to adapt to customer processes and integrate them into day to day work as needed without compromising standard methodologies and quality

Position Requirements:

Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) Proven track record in a test lead capacity Ideally a minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform. Strong understanding of QA methodologies. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment is a must. Excellent interpersonal skills required (in French & English). Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects Excellent hands-on tester Experience in large-scale software deployments. SCRUM & Salesforce certification(s) useful Understanding of test automation framework design models and standard methodologies a big plus Ability to adapt to short sprint cycles (2 weeks) Experience in the full software lifecycles from design to deployment Excellent interpersonal skills required and able to work independently Ability to empower people, instill accountability and achieve results *LI-Y
