Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of fintech software projects from discovery through deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with stakeholders (product owners, compliance, business development, IT) to define technical and business requirements.
Develop clear project plans and timelines, considering compliance with financial regulations and security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, AML/CFT).
Coordinate cross-functional teams including backend, frontend, mobile developers, UI/UX designers, QA testers, and DevOps.
Track and manage progress using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and adjust as necessary to meet changing needs.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
Identify risks, delays, and blockers; take proactive action to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
Ensure documentation and audit trails are in place, particularly for compliance and reporting needs.
Work closely with the QA team to ensure software is thoroughly tested and secure.
Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders, including executive leadership and investors.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3-7 years of software project management experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
Proven track record of delivering complex digital products in the fintech space (e.g., neobanking apps, payment gateways, remittance systems, etc.).
Strong understanding of SDLC, API integrations, and fintech architecture (e.g., KYC/AML platforms, payment processors, digital onboarding, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Deep understanding of data security, user privacy, and regulatory compliance in financial software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical background or prior experience in software engineering or product management.
Familiarity with tools and platforms like AWS, Azure, Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones.
