VAM Systems is currently looking for Software Developer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions: Qualifications and Experience Essential (Minimum) University Degree in IT from a recognized university or institution Desirable (Optional) IT certification A minimum 1 year of work experience in IT A job that programming or developing applications Skills: a. Essential (Minimum) Very good command in English (Both writing & speaking). Analytical and technical troubleshooting skills b. Desirable (Optional) Customer service awareness and skills Fluent in English Business Professional Language 2. Knowledge a. Essential (Minimum) Essential IT technical skills Different programming skills b. Desirable Able to research, troubleshoot and resolve program and coding errors efficiently Ability to make quick decisions on problem resolution. Personal Attributes a. Essential (Minimum) Strong personality User Friendly Patient and flexible attitude Sense of commitment Excellent Communication and Inter personal skills b. Desirable (Optional) Mature, professional attitude with strong work ethic Attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Handle work pressure 5. Main Duties: Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain complex application programs; devise and modify programs to resolve complex system or coding problems. Gathering requirements from end users through interview-like interaction, analyze the requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy, and document them in the appropriate template. Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology Follow the coding standards and the release and deployment Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. Prepare system documentation. Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents. Diagnose and isolate complex application software problems; formulate and implement effective solutions considering system capacity, limitations, time requirements, and desired results in order to resolve system problems and prevent reoccurrence.
