Job Description
Our client is looking for a Ruby On Rails Software Developer to be based in Dubai, UAE.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate of Computer Science, Software Programming and Development, IT, and other related degrees and technical background.
- Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies.
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues.
- Commercial and business awareness.
- Customer-centric.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and project lifecycle skills.
Backend Developer:
- 4+ years’ experience in Ruby.
- 3+ years’ experience in building and maintaining web-applications.
Added Advantage:
- Web crawling/scraping experience.
- Working on a large-scale E-commerce/logistics software.
- Having 2+ years of JavaScript experience.

- Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.
- Testing and evaluating new programs.
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
- Writing and implementing efficient code.
- Determining operational practicality.
- Developing quality assurance procedures.
- Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
- Training users.
