Job Description
Software Developer Design, develop and oversee the solution architecture of EGMA. This leadership position will be responsible for the DevOps, Software Quality Assurance, and Database outsourcing teams at EGMA. The candidate\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to guide the success of the digital transformation process in EGMA. The candidate will be responsible for improving development practices and processes and be proactive at communicating and documenting processes. Specific Duties:
- Works with development teams to provide operations tools and process guidance on cloud Technologies, including CICD build pipelines, application monitoring, backup, and recovery
- Guides development and QA team to deliver tools and process improvements
- Collaborates with Database team on data modelling, data infrastructure, and monitoring and performance optimization.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent IT-related discipline
- 5+ years of experience
- Skilled in project management, experience as a leading cross-functional software development team
- Proven work experience in cloud services of one or more cloud infrastructure providers (I.E., AWS, Azure, GCP) and the ability to build solutions based on these capabilities
- Domain knowledge of data analytics
- Knowledge of and skills in applying:
- Software development life cycle and system architecture
- Experience implementing CICD practices
- Experience implementing QA best practices
- Agile Scrum principles and values
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, the candidate must have the ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams, and architects
- Additional skills that the candidate must exhibit are a sense of urgency, commitment to deadlines, flexibility/adaptability
- The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Negotiation, Critical Thinking, Client Orientation, Communication, and Team Leadership
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- Software Developer: 5 years (Required)
