Job Objectives: To disseminate the concept of corporate social responsibility and promote its contributions to achieve positive social and economic returns by supporting the implementation of programs, projects, initiatives, and events, using various means to finance social sector services.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Supervise social responsibility systems and develop frameworks and mechanisms to ensure integration in achieving the Client's initiatives and projects related to social responsibility, while raising awareness of related concepts and applications.
2. Oversee the preparation and development of social service packages to market them to companies, authorities, and entities wishing to contribute to providing these social services through social responsibility. Stay updated with the latest trends in the field and identify initiatives for continuous improvement in implementation.
3. Supervise the inventory and evaluation of the Client's initiatives and programs that support the development of the social sector in the Emirate of Dubai. Develop communication plans with external parties to obtain the financial and non-financial support required for implementation in accordance with best practices.
4. Follow up on feasibility studies for projects submitted by departments and social responsibility initiatives before approving them and presenting them to strategic partners and external parties for financial funding.
5. Monitor, analyze, and evaluate the impact of initiatives based on approved objectives. Analyze deviations, challenges, and risks, and develop plans to take corrective action.
6. Oversee the signing of memoranda of understanding with entities supporting the Client's community initiatives and projects. Develop financial plans for funding and monitor their implementation in alignment with agreements.
7. Collaborate with the Information Technology and Digital Transformation Department to create an electronic platform for contributions from community companies, endowments, donations, and others. Ensure all participating entities are listed on the platform, document their contributions, and issue and submit periodic reports.
8. Communicate with external entities and strategic partners, build working relationships, and explore areas for contributions and participation in financing the Client's programs and initiatives. Seek attractive financing opportunities for private companies and leverage endowments for sustainable financing of social services.
9. Engage the Client with local communities, including schools, universities, colleges, private and government entities, health centers, and others, in joint initiatives and programs to contribute to the development of the emirate's social sector.
10. Provide support and consultation to the Client's departments regarding social responsibility initiatives and programs, working to support the concept of social responsibility. Seek to obtain quality certificates, apply provisions to the work of relevant departments, and periodically follow up to ensure compliance with standards.
11. Promote the culture of community contributions in the Emirate of Dubai by participating in events, seminars, and meetings with private, for-profit, and non profit companies and entities. Provide support and guidance to achieve positive social returns and enhance contributions from all sectors to sustainable community development.
12. Coordinate with government departments, agencies, associations, and charitable institutions to direct donations and Zakat funds to community development priorities and empower the most needy groups.
13. Supervise the preparation of periodic reports on community contributions for partners and present the achievements of projects and initiatives, including recommendations.
