Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and performance-driven
Social Media Specialist x Video Editor
to plan, create, and manage engaging digital content across our social platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, skilled in video editing and motion graphics, and has a strong grasp of content trends and social media algorithms--especially in the eCommerce, logistics, and Gulf markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Develop, schedule, and publish content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Plan and execute social media calendars aligned with marketing campaigns.
Manage community interactions: respond to messages, comments, and DMs professionally and promptly.
Analyze metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and suggest content improvements.
Research trends in Iraq, GCC, and eCommerce spaces to ensure content relevance.
Video Editing & Content Production
Shoot and edit short-form and long-form videos (reels, explainers, testimonials, tutorials, etc.).
Use transitions, motion graphics, and subtitles to enhance video storytelling.
Repurpose content into multiple formats (e.g., one shoot ? reel + story + post).
Maintain consistent visual style aligned with the brand (Arabic and English versions when needed).
Manage media library and organize footage for easy reuse.
Creative Collaboration
Coordinate with marketing, sales, and design teams to develop campaign assets.
Suggest creative concepts for product launches, events, and brand storytelling.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions with new ideas for growth and visibility.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in social media management and video editing.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of platform-specific best practices (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok).
Ability to write and edit captions in both Arabic and English is a major advantage.
Familiarity with eCommerce, shipping, or Gulf/Iraqi markets is a plus.
Photography skills or use of basic camera equipment is an advantage.
Skills Required:
Creativity, attention to detail, and speed in content turnaround.
Strong storytelling and visual composition.
Data-driven mindset: ability to interpret insights and apply improvements.
Time management and ability to meet deadlines independently.
Bilingual (Arabic & English) preferred for regional audience targeting.
