The Role The Senior Account Executive - Social Media plays a key role in the hands-on delivery of digital marketing services to a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute advanced social media plans aligned with client briefs and overarching objectives, demonstrating a deep understanding of the digital landscape.
  • Oversee and manage clients\' social media channels with a senior-level approach, including hands-on management of paid social media activities and continuous optimization for maximum impact.
  • Lead the creation of engaging, creative, and innovative content and campaigns that not only captivate audiences but also strategically promote brand-focused messages for clients within the portfolio.
  • Act as a senior-level liaison between our team and clients, attending high-level meetings and maintaining regular strategic communication through various channels to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with influencers, leveraging their support to enhance campaign effectiveness and broaden reach.
  • Lead the coordination and hands-on support for client events, ensuring flawless execution and reinforcing the brand\'s presence.
  • Implement sophisticated social media monitoring strategies, providing in-depth reports to the wider team and clients on coverage, traffic, engagement, followers, and other pertinent metrics.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with members of other teams, such as PR, to ensure integrated project delivery and maximize the impact of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop detailed photo shoot plans and provide expert art direction for social media calendars, ensuring visual content aligns with brand identity and campaign objectives.
  • Provide senior-level, high-quality, responsive, and timely client services, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and objectives.
  • Take a lead role in ideation, pitches, and brainstorming activities, contributing fresh and strategic ideas to support business development initiatives.
  • Actively engage in Qcademy and other advanced learning and development opportunities to enhance and refine your skills in the rapidly evolving digital marketing landscape.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and developments, providing insights to help both Q and our clients maintain a competitive edge in the regional market.

Skills/Experience
Ideally you will have:
  • A recognized tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Digital Marketing.
  • Ideally 2 years of local market experience in an agency.
  • A strong interest in a career in the Communications/PR/Digital Marketing industry.
  • Demonstrated experience and a strong interest in working with various social media platforms to grow clients\xe2\x80\x99 social media communities.
  • Creative flair and a demonstrated ability to use that to bring engaging social media content to life.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as high-level presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, trust and credibility with clients, colleagues, influencers and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high levels of client service to a busy portfolio of clients.
  • An ability to work as part of a team to deliver services to clients.
  • An ability to work independently, seeking guidance when required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines within a busy schedule.
  • High levels of resilience in dealing with client requests and competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated professionalism including being punctual, well presented, responsive and reliable.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • A commitment to stay across industry development and trends.
