Job Summary: As the Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our social media strategies across various platforms. You will be responsible for content planning, scheduling, and managing multiple social media accounts/pages, with a focus on driving engagement, increasing brand awareness, and fostering positive customer interactions. Your creativity, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to the success of this role. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and customer loyalty across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). - Plan, create, and curate engaging content that aligns with the brand's tone, style, and values to attract and retain a targeted audience. - Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, publishing, and moderation. - Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand's social media presence remains up-to-date and relevant. - Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion, to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer support, to align social media activities with broader marketing initiatives. - Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms, ensuring a positive and professional brand image. - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to identify new opportunities for growth. - Identify and engage with social media influencers and brand ambassadors to expand the brand's reach and build strategic partnerships. - Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and guidelines pertaining to social media marketing to ensure compliance. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. or a relevant vocational post-grad qualification, would be an advantage. - Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role. - Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. - Experience managing multiple social media accounts/pages across various platforms. - Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Agora Pulse, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.). - Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English - Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and innovative content ideas. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus. - Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization strategies. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
