Job Description

We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Content Creator who can plan, shoot, and edit engaging short-form videos -- primarily for Instagram Reels and TikTok -- using just a smartphone. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current social media trends, storytelling techniques, and how to create thumb-stopping content that connects with audiences.

This is a hands-on role involving both concept creation and on-site video shooting at client locations, so confidence in filming with a phone and interacting with clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Create, film, and edit high-quality short-form video content (Reels/TikToks) using a smartphone. Visit client locations to capture original, authentic, and creative video content. Stay up to date with the latest trends, sounds, and formats on Instagram and TikTok, and adapt them for client content. Develop creative concepts, scripts, and storyboards aligned with brand messaging and campaign goals. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with brand identity. Edit videos using mobile editing apps (CapCut, InShot, VN, or similar). Optional Capture behind-the-scenes moments, product features, and lifestyle content to boost engagement. Manage multiple projects and deliver fresh content under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience creating content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok). Strong knowledge of current trends, viral formats, and platform algorithms. Skilled in shooting and editing videos on mobile devices (iPhone or Android). Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling. Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clients. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Owns a smartphone with a good camera and editing capability.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in digital marketing, communications, or media is a plus. Basic photography skills (lighting, framing, color composition). Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics. Ability to appear on camera when required.
