Role Overview
As an L1 SOC Analyst in a Private 5G SOC, you will act as the first responder to security events, responsible for monitoring, triaging, and escalating cybersecurity incidents to ensure the security and integrity of 4G/5G networks.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
Hands-on working experience with 4G/5G networks and RAN environments is mandatory

Profiles without 4G/5G + RAN experience will not be considered
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first line of defense for cybersecurity incidents
Monitor security dashboards and alerts in 4G/5G environments
Analyze and triage security alerts to identify potential incidents
Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation
Identify patterns and trends in security events
Escalate complex incidents to L2 SOC Analysts
Provide basic incident response support
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
Stay updated on 5G security threats and vulnerabilities
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI 7-layer model, and networking fundamentals
Basic to intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity principles
Mandatory experience with 4G/5G protocols (RAN & Core)
Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools
Hands-on experience with Splunk and/or Microsoft Sentinel
Exposure to IT & OT environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts

Experience in ISP / Telecom environments
Experience in 4G/5G Security Operations
Certifications (Preferred)
CompTIA Security+
CSA - Certified SOC Analyst
CCNA CyberOps
CySA+
