Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate petty cash vouchers to ensure compliance with company policies and proper documentation
  • Verify legitimacy of petty cash claims before approving payment
  • Validate vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with UAE tax regulations
  • Ensure invoices follow the company's approval hierarchy and are authorized appropriately
  • Review, validate, and reconcile intercompany invoices and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to close discrepancies and clear outstanding intercompany items
  • Conduct monthly reviews of General Ledger accounts related to Accounts Payable
  • Investigate discrepancies, provide explanations, and work with accounting teams on corrections
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations, verifying accuracy and completeness of transactions
  • Identify and resolve vendor discrepancies through coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Support year-end audit activities by providing required documentation and explanations
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and enhanced AP workflow efficiency
