Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures.
Meeting acceptable safety and quality standards.
Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs.
Seek clarification from the Manager or Supervisor if a work order is not clear or seems incorrect.
Complete assigned jobs within the estimated repair/paint times.
Safeguard the customers vehicle and its contents while in the workshop.
Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers.
Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
Fulfill all tasks to the customers complete satisfaction.
Smart repair technicians are skilled in repairing minor scratches and dents on vehicles using specialized tools and techniques.
Keep accurate records of repairs performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Maintain and clean equipment used for repairs and ensure that it is in good working order.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, materials, and techniques used in vehicle repair to provide the best service possible.
Requirements:
Ability to carry out minor repairs and refinish techniques.
Ability to carry out alloy wheel repairs, including standard finish, painted finish and diamond cut wheels.
Ideally you will be an experienced S.M.A.R.T repairer or an experienced Paint Sprayer with a settled career history in a Bodyshop environment and be able to demonstrate a hands on and focus driven approach.
Enthusiastic/ driven individual that is also able to always deliver high quality work.
This position requires somebody with good attention to detail and also works to high standards at all times.
