About the role

You will be creating added value to the QR Group by building a trustworthy relationship with finance and Revenue Management heads through meaningful and insightful reporting /analyses for senior/executive management in Finance and Business. You will act as a business partner and single point of contact for senior/executive management in Finance for Revenue Management. Bridging Finance (BF, AP, AR, Finance Centers of Expertise) with the respective business you will act as a "liaison" focusing on "connecting the dots" within QR Group businesses and /or Finance stakeholders. Collaboration is key in this role. You will also ensure compliance with Qatar Airways accounting policies & procedures.

Key responsibilities

Contribute to the development of Qatar Airways Group goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization by ensuring optimal allocation of resources and providing insightful information to the senior management team. Responsible for the development of strategic financial plans by providing management with all information necessary to measure financial performance that will assist and steer Revenue Management towards sustained profitability. Advise the CFO and other key members of the senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters. Ensure effective communication and relationship between senior management Finance and Revenue Management. Act as a business partner for Revenue Management and to bridge between business and finance in an open, transparent way. Manage, capture and integrate market intelligence into strategic planning, ensuring an appropriate focus on delivering competitive advantage. Financial analyses to include monthly/quarterly reporting of KPIs, cost of investment and potential financing scenarios, realistic revenue/cost assumptions, manpower impact, sensitivity analysis, generation of EVA metrics including IRR, NPV, and payback analysis, and highlighting any risks and opportunities associated with any projects. To present an objective view of the financial situation and provide sound recommendations for the allocation of resources in the most efficient way to achieve Revenue Management goals and objectives. Incorporate forecast planning into the organization and ensure provisions are made for major risks and opportunities defined from the course of normal operations. Responsible to lead the units, and strategic business drivers to determine investment allocation, creating comprehensive and highly structured Business Cases for proposed projects, ascertaining investment cost and benefits to scope, dependencies, risk, and its alignment to strategic objectives. Creating awareness of the financial dynamics to the senior management of the business through transparent, reliable reports, analyses, and presentations with a focus on KPIs and key messages.

About you

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience. 5 years in an airline management position Revenue Management experience. Knowledgeable in airline operations. Command of English language. Strong analytical skills with the ability to review variances, and understand the business cycle and their impact on the profit and loss account. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization. Strong developed "soft skills", high level of integrity, open /transparent, team player. Passionate about digitalization and innovation. Must have excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric driven approach. Must have an excellent organizational ability to be able to set priorities, and handle multiple tasks. Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinates' skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members
