Key Responsibilities:
Perform washing, soaking, and stain removal on all types of fabrics.
Sort garments according to fabric type, color, and required washing method.
Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Apply correct washing techniques for delicate, premium, and heavy garments.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the laundry area at all times.
Ensure garments are returned in good condition, without damage.
Identify garments requiring special treatment and escalate to supervisor when needed.
Follow safety guidelines for handling detergents, chemicals, and equipment.
Meet daily washing targets while maintaining quality standards.
Assist in training new staff on washing processes when required.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Washerman/Laundry Attendant in retail laundry or hospitality sector.
Good knowledge of fabrics, stain removal, and washing techniques.
Ability to operate commercial laundry machines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to garment care.
Physical stamina to handle large volumes of laundry.
Basic understanding of chemical usage and safety precautions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
