Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and SIRA-certified CCTV Technician/Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced CCTV and alarm systems. This position requires a deep understanding of security systems, excellent technical abilities, and strong problem-solving skills, along with the capacity to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

System Installation and Configuration:

Install and set up CCTV cameras, recording devices, and related equipment following established industry standards. Conduct site assessments to determine the best camera positions, cable routing, and overall system requirements. Ensure all installations are precise and systems are fully operational.

System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance to ensure all security systems are working optimally. Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving cameras, recorders, and networking components. Replace or repair defective system parts as necessary.

Upgrades and System Improvements:

Identify opportunities for system upgrades or enhancements to meet evolving technological and client demands. Implement upgrades efficiently, minimizing any disruptions.

Client Interaction and Support:

Provide clients with hands-on training and technical support for their security systems. Address client concerns and service requests promptly and professionally. Collaborate with clients to identify their security needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Create and submit performance and issue reports as required. Document system setups and modifications for future use.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all relevant safety guidelines during system installation and servicing. Ensure all work complies with SIRA regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Certification:

SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) certification is mandatory.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role, with comprehensive knowledge of CCTV systems and related technologies.

Technical Expertise:

Skilled in the installation, configuration, and repair of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR devices, and related components. Strong understanding of networking and IP-based systems.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
