Job Description
Advisory and Design Support:
Advise clients, engineers, architects, and contractors on structural solutions. Collaborate with design teams during the planning stages of construction or refurbishment projects. Recommend materials and construction techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural Inspections:
Conduct on-site surveys of buildings and structures. Examine foundations, walls, roofs, and other structural components.Diagnosis and Reporting:
Identify structural defects, such as cracks, subsidence, damp, and deformation. Determine causes of defects and provide risk assessments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Me Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, or related field.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building pathology. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, Tekla). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
