Site Supervisor QA/QC Precast
Job Title: Site Supervisor - QA/QC (Precast)
Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)
Reports To: QA/QC Manager / Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Site Supervisor for QA/QC in Precast is a specialized role responsible for ensuring all precast concrete elements are manufactured, handled, and installed in strict compliance with project specifications and international quality standards. This role is critical for the structural integrity and aesthetic finish of the project.
Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection & Testing: Oversee all stages of precast production, including steel reinforcement, concrete mixing, casting, curing, and finishing. Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and non-destructive tests.
• Quality Control Plans: Implement and maintain the project's Quality Control Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for precast elements.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and report any non-conforming products. Initiate and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Hold and reject non-compliant items.
• Coordination: Liaise with the production team, project engineers, and client/consultant representatives during inspections and material approvals.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate QA/QC records, including inspection reports, test certificates, checklists, and as-built data for each precast element.
• Methodology Review: Review and approve method statements for the handling, transportation, and erection of precast components on site.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct QA/QC experience in a precast concrete manufacturing and construction environment.
• In-depth knowledge of precast concrete technology, mix designs, and relevant international standards (e.g., ACI, BS, DIN).
• Strong understanding of ITPs, material testing, and quality documentation.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
