Job Summary

The Interior & Fit-Out Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site activities to ensure that interior and fit-out works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing site resources, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Execution

Supervise daily interior and fit-out activities, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings and project specifications. Monitor installation of partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, MEP coordination, and finishing works. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with design details. Identify site issues and coordinate timely resolutions with the project manager/ Project Engineer, and contractors.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely material delivery. Liaise with consultants, clients, and project managers during site meetings and provide progress updates. Ensure seamless integration of MEP services with interior works, resolving clashes through coordination.

Quality & Compliance

Implement and enforce quality control standards and ensure all works meet project requirements. Verify materials delivered to site for compliance with approved samples and specifications. Oversee mock-ups, sample submissions, and ensure approvals are obtained before execution.

Safety & Site Discipline

Enforce site safety protocols and ensure that all workers comply with company and statutory health & safety standards. Report and manage incidents, near misses, and potential hazards promptly. Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and traffic management.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily site reports, progress logs, manpower reports, and material usage reports. Assist in preparing snag lists, monitoring rectification work, and ensuring snag closure before handover. Track project timelines and provide early warnings for delays or resource shortages.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3-7 years of experience in interior fit-out supervision (commercial, residential, retail, or hospitality). Strong knowledge of fit-out processes, materials, joinery, and construction methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (architectural, MEP, shop drawings). Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Good communication skills. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage. Familiarity with HSE standards and safety procedures.
