Job Description

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules. The role involves supervising labor, coordinating with subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality and safety standards on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at site. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines. Allocate tasks to foremen and laborers and ensure timely completion of work. Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues.

Quality & Safety

Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications. Enforce site safety practices and ensure all workers follow HSE regulations. Conduct regular toolbox talks and maintain a clean and organized site.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Prepare and submit daily progress reports, manpower logs, and material usage reports. Inform the site engineer or project manager about delays, variations, or challenges. Track and report site materials and equipment usage.

Materials & Equipment

Ensure materials delivered to site match the required specifications and are stored properly. Coordinate with the procurement team for material requirements and deliveries. Monitor usage and prevent wastage of materials on site.

Labor & Subcontractor Management

Supervise labor force and ensure productivity and discipline. Oversee subcontractor activities and ensure their compliance with scope and schedule. Maintain attendance and labor deployment records.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred). Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in site supervision, especially in high-rise/building/infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of construction drawings, methods, and materials. Familiarity with UAE local authority regulations (DM, Trakhees, etc.) is an advantage. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of MS Office and site documentation.

Other Requirements:

Willing to work extended hours or weekends as per project demand. UAE driving license (preferred for site mobility). Ability to manage pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
