We are seeking a skilled and proactive
Site Supervisor
to oversee and manage on-site activities for home renovation projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety while maintaining efficient coordination among teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Coordination
Supervise all on-site activities, including civil works, MEP installations, and HVAC systems, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to meet project timelines and contractual obligations.
Ensure site activities are executed in accordance with approved designs and safety standards.
Site Inspections & Quality Control
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project quality standards.
Identify and resolve quality or compliance issues promptly to prevent costly mistakes or delays.
Ensure corrective actions are taken to address deficiencies or discrepancies in work.
Material Procurement & Resource Management
Assess and organize daily material needs in coordination with the project manager and design team to ensure timely delivery.
Manage procurement and inventory of materials, working closely with vendors and suppliers for cost-effective purchasing.
Prevent material wastage by implementing efficient inventory management and ordering procedures.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution
Proactively identify potential on-site issues, implementing corrective measures to mitigate delays, safety risks, or cost overruns.
Resolve conflicts and challenges effectively, maintaining smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings and specifications.
Share site progress updates, including images of key milestones, using the designated reporting systems.
Submit regular progress reports to the project manager, highlighting achievements and addressing concerns.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
Facilitate effective collaboration between all stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Assist in project budgeting by monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for savings.
Provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in home renovations or interior fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
Familiarity with MEP, HVAC, and civil works.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of Dubai's construction regulations and safety standards is an advantage.
Personal Qualities
Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
Flexible and adaptable with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Additional Requirements
UAE driving license and personal is an asset.
High-level proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi or Urdu is an asset.
