Job Description
We have a urgent requirement for an Site Supervisor for an initial 1 year contract to be based in Saudi Arabia.
To have good knowledge & previous experience of electrical installations & assisting electricians. Effective overall capability to identify & use all types of hand & battery tools, to be able to cut & fix all types of bracketry & containment in an electrical 1st & 2nd fix environment. To show initiative, good measuring, drilling, & cutting skills & be able to work as part of a team. To be competent & comfortable in working at height using Work platforms. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES:
- Overall supervision of the specialised electrical installation team to ensure completion within agreed time scales that exceed statutory regulations and standards.
- To ensure that customer and business requirements are understood and delivered as required.
- Ensure site rules are observed by all that are working for or on behalf of DPI Staff such as Sub-Contractors and any other 3rd party suppliers of products, goods, logistics and services.
- Liaise with Project manager on the specific requirements of the customer project.
- To be pro-active in ensuring that the work being carried out is to the highest standard in every aspect.
- To ensure completion of the electrical installation within or to an improved budget whilst highlighting any potential day-works or prolongation issues.
- To ensure that the safe systems of work are always employed on site to achieve \xe2\x80\x9czero\xe2\x80\x9d accidents, or near misses.
- To mark up drawings and inform the relevant and appropriate people of the intended modifications, work to issued drawings and ensure that these are transmitted and approved before any changes are made.
- Carry out drawing take offs & obtain quotations for material ordering.
- Manage and control all aspects of material ordering and distribution of products within the role\xe2\x80\x99s authority
- SSSTS qualification with minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.
- Apprenticeship served JIB electrician/Apprenticeship served to QQI level 6.
- Qualified Certifier number holder based on the Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations course as required.
- IPAF trained to 3A and 3B as minimum
- Manual handling and working at Heights.
- First Aid trained
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Programming works for Project management review.
- Demonstrate excellent team motivation.
- Demonstrate competent computing skills \xe2\x80\x93 Email wording, Word, Excel, PDF overwriting.
