Summary:

Mitsubishi Power Middle East are looking for an experienced Site Service Director to support with the execution of the LTSA assigned to a new power plant within Fujiarah and will act as: * a single point of contact with the customer regarding this Contract.

• as a MHI's technical representative on operation and maintenance.
• dedicated to the execution of this Contract.

: * To coordinate all activities of MHI services

• To schedule and conduct pre-outcome meetings and post-outcome meetings for LTSA covered equipment.
• To advise the customer on planning, scheduling and preparation of necessary manpower, parts, tools, consumables and procedures for maintenance activities
• Conduct assessments of the operating condition of LTSA covered equipment and report any concerns of the plant operations and maintenance to MHI or the customer to lead the action.
• To assist the customer in inventory control for the LTSA/EPC-related spare parts
• To forward "Technical Information" notices on LTSA covered equipment to the customer and plan an implementation of any recommendations from these documents.
• To track the repair of parts at MHI's repair and service facilities and maintain a status chart of parts under repair
• To maintain complete, detailed parts rotation list for all LTSA covered equipment from LTSA effective date
• To respond to the customer's technical inquires including access to the appropriate MHI engineering or commercial personnel
• To work with the plant operation and maintenance staffs in developing and maintaining operating records for each of LTSA covered equipment.
• To advise the customer on routine maintenance. To check, review and comment on routine maintenance procedures prepared by the customer.
• To advise the customer on the operation of LTSA covered equipment. To check the operating parameters of the LTSA covered equipment for any abnormalities and advise the customer of any necessary countermeasures.
• To inform the customer as soon as he/she becomes aware of an event or occurrence that may deviate from the expected operating conditions or the operating conditions, causing an undesirable and significant impact on LTSA covered equipment or facilities.
• To report to the customer on the monthly availability
• To ensure delivery of the plant and outage reports to designated customer representative after planned or unplanned inspection is completed.

Troubleshooting: In case of occurrence of any troubles such as a trip in the LTSA covered equipment,

To attend at the location of the trouble immediately,

To investigate the cause of the trouble,

To report the result of the investigation with sufficient data to appropriate sections of MHI and the customer,

To establish necessary countermeasures against the trouble in cooperation with the appropriate sections of MHI, which includes dispatch of Technical Advisers to site, preparation of procedures, schedule for restoration work, supply of necessary parts to carry out the countermeasures

Technical correspondence:

To reply to the customer's technical inquiries concerning operation and maintenance of the LSTA covered equipment

Assistance in the planned and unplanned inspection works * To advise the customer in planning and preparation for the work. To observe the work related to the quality control. To advise the customer to cope with technical problems during the work To observe and check the disassembled parts and components of gas turbine for any damage/ deterioration. To recommend necessary corrective measure for the damage/deterioration found on the disassembled parts To obtain entry and work permission for MHI TAs. To conduct equipment diagnosis for LTSA covered equipment and report the result to MHI

• To report his/her activities to MHI SPM on monthly basis with calculated EFH and ES. To ensure the following submissions on a quarterly basis: Summary report indicating maintenance issues and inspection findings at other plants having gas turbines similar to the LTSA covered equipment. MHI's latest inspection plan, and parts order and delivery status report.
• To perform combustion tuning according to the direction of MHI not only at commissioning (new installation or planned inspection) but also whenever it is required. And to prepare the report.

Action for EPC Warranty on site

To participate in warranty meetings with the customer. To attend the site remedy work, report on the work to MHI and confirm the completion of the work with the customer. To obtain entry permission and work permission for TAs and workers during the Remedy work at site.

TOMONI operation

To provide local support for TOMONI installation.

To support TOMONI maintenance and inspection.

To implement the necessary operations for TOMONI according to MHI direction if any additional operational operations are required.

Routine maintenance support for the customer according to OMM

To respond to the customer's inquiries regarding maintenance, procedures, necessary parts and timing.

Personal Specification: * Proven GT Operation and Maintenance experience

• Work experience on MHI Gas Turbines.
• Execution of LTSA Projects is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an understanding on Instruments/Control System for Gas Turbines.
• Graduate level education / Qualified by experience
• Fluency in business English
• Computer knowledge and mastery of common software packages for office work
• Knowledge/Skill: General knowledge of following areas is required. Power Generation Facilities Gas / Steam Turbines and Large rotating plan Generation plant Contract Management Commercial understanding Budget Control Knowledge of Mitsubishi 701F5 gas turbines would be advantageous.

Job Location: Fujairah, UAE

Term: 3 years contract with further extension depending on the candidate performance and achievements.
