Job Summary

:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities at the construction site, ensuring that all steel fabrication and erection works are carried out as per design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This role will work closely with the project management team, ensuring the execution of the project according to the approved plans.

Key Responsibilities

:

Site Supervision

: Oversee the installation of steel structures, ensuring that the work is done according to the engineering drawings and project specifications.

Coordination

: Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, and on-site teams to ensure smooth operations.

Quality Control

: Inspect and supervise the quality of work on-site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.

Site Surveys & Measurements

: Conduct site surveys, take measurements, and verify dimensions to ensure alignment with the design.

Problem Solving

: Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during fabrication and erection on-site.

Safety Compliance

: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and mitigate any potential hazards on-site.

Reporting

: Maintain detailed site records and report progress to senior engineers and project managers.

Material Management

: Monitor and inspect the delivery of steel materials to ensure quality and timeliness.

Collaboration

: Work closely with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in steel fabrication or construction projects. Knowledge of steel design principles and site construction techniques. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design and drafting software. Strong understanding of construction safety standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
