Oversee mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop project plans, define scope, and allocate resources effectively to achieve project objectives. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks. Apply expertise in mechanical engineering principles, codes, standards, and industry best practices to provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Review and approve mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications. Assist in resolving complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and reliability. Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering standards, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure mechanical engineering deliverables meet quality standards, project specifications, and applicable industry codes. Promote a strong quality and safety culture and compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations throughout project execution. Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements, address concerns, and provide technical recommendations. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with other departments and disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical engineering activities.
