We are seeking a

Site Mechanical Engineer

with a minimum of

5 years of experience

in mechanical works for a project based in

Lusail, Qatar

. This is a

4-month contract

with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute mechanical site activities including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other disciplines on-site. Attend site meetings and provide technical support as required. Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager. Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with local and international codes. Assist in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of relevant site experience in mechanical works (preferably in the Gulf region). Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and mechanical installations. Excellent site supervision and coordination skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software. Must have a valid

Freelancer Visa

and be currently based in Qatar.
