Wood is seeking a high performing Site Materials and Warehouse Manager to support ADNOC oil and gas projects. This role is critical and would be responsible for managing all site material and warehouse activities ensuring timely receipt, proper storage, inventory control, and issuance of materials in compliance with project specifications, HSE standards, and EPCM procedures to support uninterrupted construction and commissioning activities.
To manage and provide leadership to Materials functions to ensure the cost effective, timely and efficient movement of materials. Manage all activities associated with materials management, warehousing and shore base operations. To liaise with Supply Chain, user groups, third parties and contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls, specifically
Setting up AMUSE for all material issue/receiving and full traceability of Company materials and documentation
Ensures that all warehouse Materials Staff have a clear understanding of our Procedures and are fully trained in our MM system AMUSE
Manage and lead the Warehouse operation, receipting, manifesting, inspection, and storage and control of all materials and equipment
Ensures that all warehouse Materials Staff have a clear understanding of our Procedures and are fully trained in our MM system AMUSE
Producing Materials Status reporting for the Wood project Team and the Company
Maintaining data integrity in Supply Chain systems (AMUSE)
Liaison with all Project personnel and client representatives.
Attending Subcontractor Progress Meetings ensuring that all materials are being controlled in line with Wood's MMCP
Manage the Warehouse operation, receipting, manifesting, inspection, and storage and control of all materials and equipment
Ensures that all warehouse Materials Staff have a clear understanding of our Procedures and fully trained
Accountable for the successful delivery of the Materials and HSE standards for the project.
Manage interface from Engineering to Materials
Liaison with Construction and Procurement to co-ordinate material delivery as per the Project Plan/Schedule
Management of warehouse / job site material receipt, storage, issue, and preservation
Managing marshalling and issue of materials aligned to ISO's or job cards ready for call off
Attending Project Progress Meetings.
Liaison with all Project personnel and client representatives.
Accountable for the successful delivery of the HSE standards for the project to all warehouse employees
Is Responsible for the Warehouse, Materials Handling and Storage in accordance with company / client procedures ensuring that all transactions are auditable and purchase orders are closed out expediently
Good communications skills both oral, written and presentation focused
Extensive knowledge of engineering support for Asset development
Self-motivated, high level of delivery focus
Ability to work within multiple teams and deal with changing priorities
Strong team leadership requiring focus, enthusiasm, sensitivity, mentoring and coaching.
Good track record of interfacing with clients and 3rd parties
Typically acquired through 5+ years' experience of supervision / managing in a warehousing facility
The individual should have varied and detailed work experience in the industry which would allow understanding of and exposure to key material control and logistics concepts and principles.
Previous experience of using Material Management Systems
