General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

LOGISTICS:
  • Managing and supervising the daily Community Logistics works at Site, including coordination and review of Third-Party Contractors Logistics plans.
  • Third-party Laydown area mobilization and demobilization inspection and reports. Interface with the third party for laydown area lease agreement breaches.
  • Compliance monitoring of third-party contractors workplaces and laydown areas for encroachment etc.
  • Develop and update third-party laydown area occupation status and plot development status.
  • Interfacing with third-party developers and contractors on various logistics issues and concerns on the island and helping resolve them sometimes through authorities.
  • f. Liaise with the Authorities, including Police, ADM etc., for any site violations and noncompliance.
  • Inspection of snags to allow issuance of the Building Completion Certificate (BCC) and follow up on the closeout of such snags.
  • Review and Issuance of accident clearance to Police or any other relevant authorities.
  • Management of the project materials inventory and storage in coordination with third-party or Employer inter-department sections.
  • Facilitate reviewing and approving the third-party request for temporary land occupancy and issuing the license agreement as per the Employer standard requirements.
  • Facilitate and review third-party requests for temporary fencing, site mobilization, and access.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare observation reports related to the overall aesthetics and look of the entire development and provide any recommendation for any required actions from the Employer or the third-party developers.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • 15 or more years of experience in managing logistics and security on similar projects. UAE and particularly Abu Dhabi experience is preferred.
  • Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues.
  • Strong Management and communication.
  • Demonstrates a determination, desire to succeed and a wish to progress and develop.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite or Primavera.
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working within a professional PMC or Consultancy organization.
