Site Inspector - Construction Supervision - AECOM - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The Site Inspector role at AECOM Dubai supports construction supervision activities by ensuring contractors execute works in full compliance with contract documents, approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and accurate site records throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and apply contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and approved health and safety measures
• Ensure contractors comply with contract standards and specifications through site observation, measurement, testing, and quality tracking
• Carry out site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and site resources
• Document contractor activities, locations, methods, and reasons for works in assigned areas
• Monitor materials delivery, storage, and usage and report any non-conformance
• Apply and implement all site quality control procedures and quality assurance requirements
• Follow up on and implement site instructions issued by project leadership
• Prepare site measurements and surveying checks as required
• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and applicable code requirements
• Monitor health and safety compliance on site and report any violations or unsafe practices
• Maintain accurate inspection records, daily logs, and reports in line with contract administration procedures

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant construction or engineering discipline
• Experience in site inspection or construction supervision roles
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction inspection practices
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and site safety monitoring
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently on site
