Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in UAE construction projects to oversee and manage on-site operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that construction activities are executed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations while coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Supervision & Execution:

• Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and work progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to safety protocols.

2. Planning & Coordination:

• Assist in preparing project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with the project manager, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all construction activities align with the project timeline and budget.

3. Quality Control & Compliance:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures as per UAE regulations and company standards.
• Conduct material inspections and ensure proper testing (concrete, steel, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, including site logs and inspection records.

4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure all site activities comply with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensure workers follow PPE and safety guidelines.
• Report and address any safety violations or incidents immediately.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate site records, including drawings, RFIs (Request for Information), and change orders.
• Assist in preparing As-Built drawings and project handover documents.
• Report project progress, challenges, and delays to the Project Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of UAE experience in construction (high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or MEP projects preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards (DM, ADM, TRAKHEES, etc.).
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Certifications:
• UAE driving license (preferred).
• OSHA, IOSH, or NEBOSH certification (advantageous).
