Job Description

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team with at least 5 years (UAE) of work experience within the Marble, Granite and Natural Stone industry.

Responsibilities

Plan the setting out, leveling, and surveying on site. Take site measurement; prepare detailed drawings and cutting list Understanding the clients' needs, creating the design concept and preparing shop drawings, plans, materials and mockups Responsible for any changes on site that has a financial impact on the project. This needs to be recorded and communicated to internal team members on time in full. Prepare cutting orders and coordinate with factory for requisition of materials as per design requirements in site. Ensure that all materials used and works performed are as per specifications Act as the main technical supervisor on the construction site for stone works in coordination with foreman, masons, subcontractors and all other parties involved in the process Maintain positive and cordial relationships with clients throughout the project and adhering to project guidelines, cost and schedules. Responsible to update the schedules, coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure that the work gets completed on time in full. Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained as per company policy Coordinate all quantity surveying and invoice preparation works. Oversee the selection and requisition of materials. Suggest cost-effective solutions and proposals on site. Preparing daily reports of progress Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise Maintaining records of problems/difficulties for each project and report it to the internal teams as a learning opportunity and continuous improvement Strong professional communication skills in English and Hindi are Mandatory. Any other duty as deemed relevant and appropriate by the company.

Skills & Experience

Experience in coordinating site activities for Marble and Granite installation and finishing. Knowledge in Auto-CAD and proficient at making shop drawings. Strong, Self-motivated, pro-active and target driven. Solid understanding of project life cycle and contracting activities Strong project management skills. Proficient in project scheduling and resource management Ability to work independently and lead project deliverables.
