Site Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Site Engineer to join our supervision team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will oversee daily site activities, ensure quality control, monitor project progress, and coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and municipality regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and inspect construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate with the contractor, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
Review and report site progress, identify issues, and propose corrective actions.
Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
Attend site meetings and prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Follow up on technical issues and RFIs with the design office.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
3-6 years of experience in site supervision, preferably within an engineering consultancy in Sharjah or other UAE emirates.
Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and Sharjah Municipality procedures.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Valid car preferred.
