Design and implement fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards. Conduct site inspections to assess existing fire safety measures and recommend enhancements. Prepare detailed project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports for fire fighting installations. Collaborate closely with architects and contractors to integrate fire safety solutions into building designs. Oversee the installation and commissioning of fire alarm and suppression systems, ensuring all work meets quality standards. Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that fire fighting projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints. Conduct regular training sessions for site personnel on fire safety practices and equipment usage. Perform risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to fire safety. Act as the primary point of contact for fire safety inspections and audits by regulatory authorities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in fire fighting system design and implementation. Professional certifications such as NFPA, FPE, or equivalent are highly preferred. Experience working on large-scale construction projects, especially in commercial or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and standards, including NFPA and local regulations. Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for diverse project environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams. Proactive problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and safety. Physical fitness to conduct site inspections and manage on-site safety protocols. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
