JOB TITLE: Site Engineer (Client Management)


DEPARTMENT: Industrial Zones


REPORTING TO: Zone Manager




JOB DESCRIPTION


PURPOSE OF THE JOB To contribute in the development of the operational compliance framework, while ensuring it is implemented across Industrial Parks, through monitoring and safeguarding of Company's infrastructure and other associated facilities.




MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Oversee and safeguard the infrastructure and Company's assets across Industrial Zones, and recommend any appropriate action in cases where client activities and operations interfere with the safeguarding and operations of infrastructure and assets.


2. Assist, as required, in defining technical scope and specifications for infrastructure enhancement projects, and other relevant projects.


3. Assist in coordination to relevant government authorities such as Ashghal, Kahramaa, whenever necessary, to ensure regulations and standards related to the construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure are being implemented appropriately at Industrial Zones and ensure any issues and/or changes are followed up accordingly.


4. Stay updated to relevant and recent revisions in government regulations and standards that may take effect from time-to-time related to infrastructure and assets, and ensure all stakeholders are well informed and implementing them accordingly.


5. Review and provide recommendation for issuance of the work permit(s) along in Company area of Jurisdiction, submitted by the service provider to ensure a safe and systematic workflow.


6. Conduct routine inspection to all client's premises, to maintain adherence to Company & Statutory Authorities rules and regulation including cross-coordination to HSE Department for health, safety and environment (HSE) compliance framework across Industrial Zones, in addition to providing information to clients, as required, in technical aspects (e.g. plots, allocated power load, access) of newly developed and operational land and infrastructure and give technical feedback in the event of any issues that may arise.




QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is required.


WORK EXPERIENCES:


A minimum of 6 -8 years of work experience, preferably in the required discipline.


PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS /


CERTIFICAITONS: A certification in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient in English. Teamwork and collaboration skills Communication and interpersonal skills Planning and organizing skills Analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills Customer focus skills Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Qatar. Knowledge of civil engineering drawings and designs Technical skills and knowledge in infrastructure safeguarding and operational maintenance Knowledge and experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or CAFM
