Job Summary:
The Site Engineer - Mechanical is responsible for overseeing mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs at construction or industrial sites. They ensure that all mechanical systems comply with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, supervisors, and other engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities: * Project Supervision & Execution:

• Oversee mechanical installations (piping, HVAC, pumps, compressors, etc.) as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monitor work progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design and safety regulations.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical guidance to contractors and technicians.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on-site.
• Review and approve material specifications and equipment.
• Quality Control & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all mechanical works meet industry standards (ASME, ASTM, ISO, etc.).
• Conduct quality checks and tests (pressure tests, alignment checks, etc.).
• Enforce safety protocols and report hazards or incidents.
• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare work schedules, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with the project team for updates and compliance documentation.
• Coordination & Communication:

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, etc.).
• Attend project meetings and provide technical inputs.
• Ensure smooth handover of completed systems to the client.

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, ASME) is a plus.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical site engineering (construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, machinery).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and mechanical design software.
• Knowledge of industry codes (ASME, API, ANSI).
• Strong understanding of maintenance and repair procedures.
• Soft Skills:
• Problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Site-based role with exposure to outdoor and industrial environments.
