Job Description

Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage the installation of HDPE corrugated pipes at project sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. The role requires hands-on supervision, coordination with site teams, and technical problem-solving to deliver high-quality installations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the site execution of HDPE corrugated pipe installation works as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure proper handling, alignment, jointing, and testing of HDPE pipes.
• Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery and installation.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, and resources to meet project timelines.
• Conduct quality checks on installation, backfilling, and compaction.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, daily progress logs, and quality documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during pipe installation.
• Report any deviations, delays, or non-conformities to the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' site experience in HDPE corrugated pipe installation (stormwater, sewerage, or related infrastructure projects).
• Knowledge of pipe-laying methods, jointing techniques, trench safety, and testing procedures.
• Familiar with construction standards, drawings, and specifications related to piping works.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices in construction sites.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD (preferred).
• Good communication and leadership skills.
